Many times in our generation when God's people have taken a stand, their lives can be misunderstood and even attacked. We feel that to avoid being misunderstood, we decided to share the vision of the ministry that God has called us to. Our Testimony: After being raised in a "semi-Christian" atmosphere, I thought that I was just as good as anyone else until I read Matthew 7:21. It reads: "Not everyone that sayeth unto me Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven." Upon reading this I realized that I did not have a personal relationship with the Lord. In June 1979 I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. At this time, I was in the Navy and realized God wanted all of me or none of me. I realized that only through Him could I lead a life that would bring true purpose. After my first enlistment in the Navy, I decided to transfer from Active Duty to the Reserves. It was at this time that I met my future wife, Tracy. I soon found out that she was recently widowed and had a small daughter. It was love at first sight and within a few short months Tracy agreed to be my wife. In June of 1986 we were married and shortly thereafter I adopted our daughter, Jessica. After our first few months of marriage and starting to serve the Lord as a couple, Tracy started to have doubts about her salvation. It was at this time that she asked Jesus to be her Lord and Savior and the Lord was then able to start a mighty work in both of our hearts. Vision The Lord directed us to work with youth. As time progressed we realized the secret with the youth was with their parents.(Malachi 4:6) It was when we helped the parents that the youth succeeded in their walks with the Lord. As we grew more in the Lord, He later showed us that the key to success was in a good foundation. Psalms 11:3 states: "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" The Lord revealed to us that He wanted every area of our lives to be built under His principles. This is when our creation ministry began. Eccl. 12:1 "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth..." Our Family Several years had passed and we were unsuccessful adding to our family. At one point, we were even told we might not be able to have children. We were content with Jessica, but our hearts yearned for more children. Tracy and I promised the Lord that if He would give us children, we would take all that He would give. Needless-to-say, eight children later...He took us seriously!!! Education When Jessica was of age for school, God convicted our hearts once again, this time in the area of home education. Knowing that the public schools would not give our children the right foundation, we realized that the responsibility rested with us, not the public school system. (Deut. 6:4-6, Hosea 4:6) We have taken this job very seriously and are now also home educating the other 8 children. The Lord showed us that whoever has the heart of the child, controls the child. Home education has greatly helped us to keep and maintain the hearts of our children.
